Ted served four years in the Marine Corps. Now retired, Ted was a former aircraft mechanic, aircraft mechanic instructor and an FAA aircraft mechanic examiner.
Meredith, family and friends call her Medy or Med, is a former school teacher but has been working in banking for the past 35 years. She is presently the head teller at Community One Bank in West Hickory and hopes to retire in 2008.
We moved to Newton, NC from Massachusetts six years ago. Since being introduced to and joining GWRRA in 1998, we have served as Chapter Educators and Chapter Directors for NC-02 in Hickory.
Our longest Wing ride (so far) was cross-country through fifteen states for a total of 7,300 plus miles pulling our Lees-ure Lite camper. We hope to see all the lower 48 when Meredith retires.
