We have been married for 21 years, and Jim has a son and daughter who are both MSF-trained riders. We are both military retirees (Jim as CW4 with over 38 years; Gail as SGM with over 22 years) and moved to Advance, NC from Vermont in 2003.
We purchased our first Gold Wing In 1987, joined GWRRA in 1988 (VT-C), and became MSF Instructors that summer. Due to military requirements and the extremely short riding season, we weren't very active in GWRRA. That sure changed when we moved here! We had attended our first WOS in 1993, and met many NC-B2 Members at subsequent NC District rallies. Three months before relocating we were selected as the Chapter Educators. We quickly completed the requirements for RE Levels I - III and have been Master Tour Riders since 2004. In addition to the RE position, we have been Newsletter Editors, and are currently serving Chapter B2 as Couple of the Year, Recruiting and Retention Coordinators, and Goody Sales.
Jim has been riding since 1969, currently rides a 2008 GL1800, and enjoys playing golf. Gail has been riding since 1976, currently rides a 1994 GL1500 SE, and enjoys sewing and embroidery. As the 2007 Chapter B2 Couple of the Year we have enjoyed visiting all the Chapters and making many new friends. We intend to continue our visits throughout the state, and encourage your comments and suggestions to help us to better serve you.
